8 Technology Gift Ideas

Posted on May 31, 2019October 11, 2019 by dancoyle

Whatever the occasion, if you’re searching for a gift for someone who is a bit of a tech geek, is always interested in the latest gadget, enjoyes tinkering around with smart toys, or is on the lookout for the latest and greatest way to do something cool, this is your post.

This is a wireless charger by TEWELL. It’s compatible with iPhone XR/XS Max/XS/X / 8/8 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+/S8/S8+/S7/Note 8, and more.

Not only will it charge your phone wirelessly and in this nifty stand, but it can charge up to 20% faster than other wireless chargers! If you thought that was cool, it comes it at a mere $14 when you buy it on Amazon.

TaoTronics Active Noise Cancelling Headphones are the perfect solution if your giftee would dig bluetooth over ear headphones. TaoTronics boasts the following features: Hi-Fi sound deep bass, quick charge, 30 hours playtime for travel, works with bluetooth enabled TVs, PCs, and cellphones!

It packs all this punch for just $60 when you buy it on Amazon.

We use a Keekoon to keep an eye on our toddler while he’s in his room, and for a security camera while we’re away. It has an easy to use app that lets you check in, set a motion detector alarm, and automatically take photos if an alarm is triggered.

It also comes with two-way audio, night vision and 1080P resolution. In case you haven’t caught on yet, this one is a great deal on Amazon–just $40!

This Luker record player combines the charm of the good old days with some modern enhancements and capabilities. Visually you’ll see metal decorative panels, retro metal screws, an electroplating knob, and a classic leather surface. At the same time, you get a bluetooth turntable with a portable design, equipped with a USB charging cable.

They’ve even tuned the sound chamber and hand tuned the speakers with their audio experts! This is a pretty swanky deal for just $70!

I’m not sure who this doesn’t describe, but maybe there’s someone out there, so bear with me. If your giftee likes to play music, hear the news, and get quick answers to questions, the Amazon Echo will delight! If you want a little more, this puppy can also control compatible smart home devices–all with the sound of your voice (no pesky fat finger issues).

These are becoming so ubiquitous, so I probably don’t need to drone on about everything this brings to the table here, just click the link if you’re unfamiliar–it’s well worth the cost. Oh, and that’s a cool $100.

They might not look like much, but I love these Jinvoo wi-fi smart plugs. These work with Amazon Alexa devices (like the one above) and can turn most appliances or devices with an on/off switch into a smart device. The instructions are simple and easy to connect to your Alexa app and the Jinvoo app (you don’t need both). This allows you to control the device by turning it on or off with your voice and by pressing a button on your phone.

We mostly use it for lights but I know people who use them for TV, radio, even humidifiers and sprinklers! Get this 2 pack for $20–it’s sure to be a hit.

A wallet? Yes, a wallet. But not just any wallet. The Ridge is a minimalist, RFID blocking wallet (that’s the only tech tie-in I have here–it just seemed right for this list for some reason) that’s super slim, sturdy, and comes with a lifetime guarantee.

The Ridge holds up to 12 cards without stretching out, and it comes with an integrated cash strap that will allow your giftee to clip those cash gifts inside. They’ll will never see this one coming–surprise him for just $72.

If s/he’s actually a kid at heart, I’d wager a bet that your giftee will have way too much fun with this SNAPTAIN drone. It comes with a 720P HD camera, voice control, altitude hold, a gravity sensor, and a compatible VR headset!

This drone is a unique mix of being packed to the gills with features, but is also super user-friendly. For example, simply press one button and it’ll take off, land or return. Use smart voice control to perform fascinating 360° flips and rolls–easy even for the drone newbies.

This is loads of fun without costing loads of cash. The SNAPTAIN drone is $75 on Amazon.

That wraps up the tech feature. I’m pretty confident that anything you get from this list will be a big hit!
